US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick says the EU and Canada are engaging in tit-for-tat tariff hikes with the US and President Donald Trump is just pushing for a fair trade policy. Lutnick says Europe and Canada are being disrespectful and Trump is growing tired of it. “If you make him unhappy, he responds unhappy,” Lutnick said of Trump’s threat to put a 200% tariff on wine, champagne and other alcoholic beverages from France and elsewhere in the EU.
