President Donald Trump hosted the 2026 Kennedy Center Honors, taking jabs at Jimmy Kimmel, whose late-night show ABC suspended earlier this year amid pressure from Trump and his FCC chair, saying ‘he was just terrible.’ The next day, news broke that ABC renewed Kimmel’s deal to stay on air through 2027.
