Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will join European leaders in Paris on Tuesday for talks on ending the war in Ukraine. The group, led by Britain and France, is expected to detail what concrete commitments they will make to protect Ukraine in the future, which they hope will, in turn, bring lasting peace to the continent. It comes as Ukraine’s President says a deal being brokered by the US is 90 percent ready, but peace “at any cost” will not be accepted. TRT World’s Victoria Innes reports.
