Protests continue near Delaney Hall, an ICE Immigration detention facility in Newark, New Jersey, facing allegations of poor conditions. MS Now’s Maya Eaglin spoke to a group of teachers who joined demonstrations on Sunday to hear more about why they wanted to protest.
Elected officials, lawyers and activists are demanding a full inspection of the building and better conditions for those inside. "There is no hunger strike at Delaney Hall. All detainees are provided with 3 meals a day. Meals are certified by dietitians," DHS said on their website.
