Shabana Mahmood says it is "devastating" that British Jews no longer feel safe in their own country.
The home secretary tells Sky News that "it is a challenge to all of us" about how to reverse this trend and "to give confidence" to Jews in the UK.
It follows the antisemitic terror attack against a synagogue in Greater Manchester, which left two dead and three others in a serious condition.
