Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on March 26 that the military had killed Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri, adding that the commander had a role in blocking the Strait of Hormuz.
The same day, Israel’s military said it had completed a wide-scale wave of strikes targeting infrastructure in Iran.
