Sky’s Business and Economic Correspondent Paul Kelso attended a speech by Sir Jon Cunliffe, the author of a lengthy report into the state of the water sector.
Following the release of the report, Environment Secretary Steve Reed said the regulator – Ofwat – will be abolished.
Paul noted that Cunliffe didn’t focus on nationalising the water companies, which is likely because "Steve Reed wouldn’t let him".
