The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is planning to potentially print a commemorative $250 bill with the image of President Donald Trump to mark the country’s 250th anniversary.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins during a White House press briefing that he didn’t think there was “anything untoward” about having Trump on a commemorative bill. But, he added, it was “up to” Congress if the bill became a reality.
