At least 15 people, most of them students, were killed in a fire at an animation coaching institute in the northern Indian city of Lucknow on June 22, officials said. Most of the victims were between 16 and 18 years old. The building also hosted a veterinary clinic.
An eyewitness said local residents joined rescue efforts before emergency services arrived. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
