Bode Miller, an Olympic gold medalist and American alpine skier, was charged with two counts of drug possession after being arrested in Idaho. Miller posted bail for $5,000 and later pleaded not guilty to his two charges at an arraignment on June 17. During his time as an alpine skier, Miller took home six Olympic gold medals as well as multiple World Cup championships. The athlete became one of the most decorated alpine skiers of all time by his 2017 retirement, and was inducted into the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame two years later. After his retirement, Miller has been focused on life with his and wife Morgan Beck Miller’s eight children. The couple share Nash, 10, Easton, 7, twins Asher and Askel, both 6, Scarlet, 4, as well as Bode’s kids Dace, 18 and Nate, 12, from prior relationships. The couple are also parents to daughter Emeline, who died in 2018 at just 19 months old after drowning in a neighbor’s swimming pool.
