A 1-year-old boy miraculously survived a fall from a fifth-floor window in the Bronx on Friday evening and was hospitalized in stable condition, cops said.
The tot tumbled from a window at 593 Oak Terrace in Mott Haven at around 6:40 p.m. and landed face down in the back of the six-story apartment building, according to authorities.
The baby was alert and conscious when first responders arrived, according to the FDNY.
“It wasn’t moving, only crying. Its legs were crossed. No socks. No shoes. Only pampers,” recalled first-floor resident Wilma Roman.
