Paul subpoenaed Fauci to appear before the Senate Homeland Security Committee to investigate the origins of COVID-19. Dr. Fauci declined to answer questions, instead invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination on the advice of his attorney. In his opening remarks, Dr. Fauci said Sen. Paul had an "obvious obsession" and a desire to see him prosecuted.
