On a recent Monday, Israeli forces, including soldiers from the 94th Brigade, Duvdevan Unit, 41st Brigade, and operatives from the Shin Bet security agency, completed an extensive 18-hour counterterrorism operation in the Far’a area of the Jordan Valley, West Bank. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) disclosed the details of this significant military effort on Tuesday, highlighting the operation’s complexity and the high level of threat the forces were confronting.
The operation’s primary success was the discovery and subsequent destruction of an explosives laboratory. This facility was being used to manufacture explosive devices, posing a significant threat to the region’s safety. The lab contained over 80 explosive devices and additional explosive barrels, ready for potential terrorist activities. The materials found underscore the operational capability of the terrorist cells active in the area and the direct threat they posed.
During the operation, the forces also intercepted a suspicious vehicle, which led to the seizure of additional weapons.
