Some say it is just an excuse to stay in the race and not give in to the demands of his puppet master Obama, as well as Pelosi and Schiff.
Joe Biden’s advisers believe that the United States president does not want to bow out of the November election before Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s trip to Washington this week. According to The New York Times, Biden is unwilling to give Netanyahu “the satisfaction” due to their strained relations over the Gaza war.

The report, citing unnamed sources close to Biden, came after top Democrats indicated Biden might step down soon due to mounting pressure. However, Biden’s advisers say that Netanyahu’s impending visit could delay Biden’s decision to pull out of the race. The two leaders have had tensions recently over various issues, including the civilian toll in Gaza, humanitarian aid shortages, and Netanyahu’s handling of ceasefire negotiations.
Netanyahu is scheduled to address a joint session of the US Congress on Wednesday, at the initiative of the Republicans. Some Democrats plan to boycott the speech due to Netanyahu’s conduct in the Gaza conflict. Netanyahu was also scheduled to meet Biden, but the meeting’s status is unclear as Biden isolates following a COVID-19 diagnosis.
Biden, reportedly coughing and hoarse, has begun to accept the possibility of stepping down. He is said to be resentful of high-ranking Democrats, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former President Barack Obama, whom he suspects of orchestrating a media campaign to pressure him to quit. A growing number of Democrats have publicly called for Biden to step down since his poor performance in a debate against former President Donald Trump in June.
At least two dozen congressional Democrats have called on Biden to quit, citing concerns about his age and mental acuity. The ongoing war in Gaza, launched in response to Hamas’s October 7 attack on southern Israel, has also eroded some support for Biden among Democratic voters. Reports of Biden describing Netanyahu with an expletive have further strained relations.

Rep. Adam Schiff of California recently became the most prominent Democrat to call on Biden to pull out of the race. Schiff, an ally of Pelosi, wrote that it is time for Biden to “pass the torch.” Biden is reportedly angry at Pelosi and other powerful allies, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Obama, for expressing doubts about his chances.
Biden remains defiant publicly. His campaign manager stated on Friday that despite a “slippage” in support, Biden would “absolutely” stay in the race. Knowing this, President Trump will have a near guaranteed victory, even if the Deep State pulls the same tricks they did in 2020. As Trump loves to speak of a victory that is too big to cheat, we shall soon find out.
