Downing Street says Sir Keir Starmer has paid back more than £6,000 worth of gifts and hospitality, include tickets to see Taylor Swift and Doncaster Racers, saying he "thought it was right" to repay the payments.
Meanwhile the Labour peer, Lord Waheed Alli who is at the centre of the donations row, is now under investigation by the House of Lords’ commissioners over an alleged "non-registration of interests".
