The Kenya National Human Rights Commission says it’s investigated some 60 cases of extrajudicial killings and 71 cases of abductions and enforced disappearances since mass protests swept the country in June. For weeks, young Kenyans led protests over poor governance. The events turned violent during a police crackdown which activists say is still ongoing. DW’s East Africa Correspondent Felix Maringa has been following the story for us from the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
