A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has begun in Gaza after a nearly three-hour delay. The truce didn’t begin on schedule after Hamas failed to release the names of the three female hostages to be freed today on time. The Israeli government says that the first hostages are due to be released this afternoon. In return, 90 Palestinian prisoners will be freed at the same time. Aid agencies are set to use the six-week ceasefire to rush more support into the strip.
