Local news media in Sweden are reporting several people have been killed in a mass shooting at an adult education college. Police have confirmed that at least five people, including a suspected shooter suffered gunshot wounds.
The college, which caters to young adults, is in the city of Örebro in central Sweden, around 200 kilometres west of the capital Stockholm. In a news conference, police said they cannot rule out the possibility of more suspects being at large, and have asked the public to stay away from the area. Sweden’s justice minister has described the attack as "very serious" and said that the government is working closely with police.
