As Meta Platforms (META) shares continue their longest-running winning streak to date, Wall Street is keyed in on the tech giant’s forecasts for $119 billion in capital expenditure (CapEx) spending in 2025.
RBC Capital Markets Equity Analyst Brad Erickson joins Market Domination to speak more about the central theme of Big Tech’s CapEx spending as it pertains to Meta.
"Right now, we’re all talking about AI applications and what those can turn into, ao a lot of this is kind of narrative," Erickson tells Julie Hyman and Josh Lipton. "They [Meta] have the best narrative I would argue. And what I mean by that is when you think about… what agents could provide, think of like a private like fitness coach or something as an agent, like there’s real utility I think that people can kind of imagine on this platform."
