Sing Sing star Colman Domingo has been speaking about how some of the film’s stars were denied visas ahead of tonight’s BAFTAs ceremony due to their convictions.
The film, which tells the story of a group of men who take part in an arts rehabilitation project at a maximum security prison in New York state, features former inmates who play themselves, who were unable to attend due to previous convictions.
Domingo said: "I always look at the positive, yes it’s sad that my colleagues can’t be here with me today but hopefully maybe the attention can shed some light on this and maybe make some changes because of it."
