Cutting UK aid budget is ‘betrayal of vulnerable people around the world’

Save the Children CEO Moazzam Malik reacts to the news that the government is cutting the UK aid budget to fund an increase in defence spending.

"It is a betrayal of the world’s most vulnerable people and the UK’s national interest," he tells Sky News, urging the government to address the question "why does defence spending merit 10 times more spending than the aid budget?"
