A minute of silence was held in the UK to commemorate those who died during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This weekend marks five years since the pandemic, and events are being held across the country for bereaved families to come together.
Along the national COVID memorial wall in central London, people lined up to throw flowers into the Thames to remember those who lost their lives to the disease.
