Russia has captured territory in Ukraine’s Sumy region for the first time since 2022 as Kyiv struggles to hold areas it seized last year in Russia’s Kursk region. The Russian advances come as President Volodymyr Zelensky heads to Saudi Arabia on Monday ahead of US-Ukrainian peace talks.
