At least 17 people have been killed in powerful storms sweeping across the United States.
Authorities in Missouri report 11 deaths, while Arkansas has seen three fatalities. Additionally, three people died in car crashes caused by dust storms in Texas on 14 March.
Approximately 138 million people are at risk of severe weather in central and southern US states, with tornado warnings issued for parts of Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Indiana, and Kentucky.
