The head of the world’s biggest humanitarian network has warned that rebuilding Syria will be "extremely difficult" and "very, very slow" without further easing of international sanctions imposed over Assad-era violations. Jagan Chapagain, Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, spoke to DW on the sidelines of a donor conference in Brussels.
