Around 300,000 Newcastle fans are expected to gather to celebrate the club’s first domestic trophy in 70 years.
That was the Carabao Cup, which Newcastle won after beating Liverpool 2-1 in the final just under two weeks ago.
Tens of thousands of Magpies fans flooded the capital for the occasion, with many more hoping to get a glimpse of the trophy this afternoon during the open-top bus parade.
We’re expecting 150,000 fans to line the streets, while the other 150,000 will be at Town Moor, where we’ll see some Newcastle legends welcome the cup-winning squad.
