Robin Simcox, appointed as the Commissioner for Countering Extremism in 2021, will see his three-year term come to a close this summer.
In an exclusive interview, Sky’s Sophy Ridge speaks with Simcox about his perspective on defining terrorism.
On the recent Southport attacks, Simcox stated that he does not view the killer, Axel Rudakubana, as a terrorist.
He remarked, "the act of violence in Southport was so horrendous, I understand why people may feel the need to attach the most serious label to it."
