Trump praises Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer: ‘Very good person’

President Donald Trump praised Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat who has criticized Trump in the past and campaigned for candidates running against him. Whitmer, along with Michigan House Speaker Matt Hall, were in the Oval Office with Trump for the signing of an executive order regarding an invasive fish problem in Lake Michigan. They also discussed the status of the Selfridge Air National Guard Base.
