In the midst of Donald Trump’s trade war, the president is also escalating a fight with the chairman of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell. Today, in a post on social media, Trump lashed out at the chair after Powell said that Trump’s tariffs are creating a “challenging scenario” for the central bank, and are likely to make inflation even worse.
