Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, his office announced Sunday. On Morning Joe, former Obama health advisor Dr. Zeke Emanuel said the cancer was likely “growing there and spreading” for years — possibly a decade — and questioned why it wasn’t detected earlier. Only about 7% of prostate cancers are diagnosed this late, he noted, but added, “I think the President is very likely to respond, and the tumor is likely to shrink with treatment.”
