Dr. Alaa Al-Najjar, a Palestinian pediatrician, had nine of her ten children killed when Israel bombed her house in southern Gaza. Her husband was severely injured. Al-Najjar’s dramatic story comes at a moment when Gaza’s health infrastructure is on the brink, amid famine fears. Bassam Bounenni reports.
