Since 2017, Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury, Massachusetts has conducted masses and full military funerals for veterans with no family or loved ones to honor them at the time of their death. In March, Catholic Memorial hockey players served as pallbearers at one such funeral, then two days later played for the state championship at TD Garden in Boston.
