Anti-war activists from the group Rabbis for Human Rights gathered on May 29 to protest the Israeli government’s ongoing genocidal war in Gaza, calling for an immediate ceasefire and the provision of food and other humanitarian resources to the Palestinian people.
According to Anadolu Agency, the activists claimed they have become accustomed to receiving “a lot of hate” from their fellow Israelis for their pro-peace stances – at times being both verbally and physically harassed during such demonstrations.
