Major heat waves across southern Europe have pushed temperatures above 40C in countries including Italy, Spain and Greece, as local authorities issued fresh warnings against the risk of wildfires. FRANCE 24’s correspondent Seema Gupta reports from Rome, where authorities said the temperature is eight degreen higher than the seasonal average.
