Israeli forces continued demolishing Palestinian homes in the Tulkarem refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank, defying a July 6 ruling by Israel’s Supreme Court.
Troops set up a checkpoint at the camp entrance, carrying out ID checks and allowing only some residents to retrieve belongings from their homes, according to local sources.
Since the start of genocidal Israel’s war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, at least 989 Palestinians have been killed and more than 7,000 injured in the occupied West Bank by Israeli forces and settlers.
