Norman Tebbit, the former Tory minister who served in Margaret Thatcher’s government, has died at the age of 94.
His story about how his father "got on his bike to look for work" came to encapsulate Thatcherism at a time of social and economical upheaval in the UK.
Lord Tebbit died "peacefully at home" late on Monday night, his son William said.
