Sky News understands that the four people who died when a plane crashed at Southend airport were medical professionals and pilots.
The plane had been in Greece and Croatia before landing in the UK, and was on its way to the Netherlands.
A witness told Sky News the plane crashed in a "big fireball" a few seconds after taking off on Sunday.
