On July 15, 2016, an attempted coup by the FETO terror organisation was decisively defeated by the will and unity of the Turkish nation. Millions of citizens across the country took to bridges, streets and airports to halt the coup plotters. More than 250 people lost their lives as martyrs, many others were seriously injured. Nine years on, some are still living with permanent disabilities. Rumeysa Codar has more.
