Today I’m talking about something absolutely stunning – the asteroid Apophis and its potential connection to the Bible prophecy about Wormwood (Revelation 8:10–11). NASA confirms this massive asteroid (1,200 feet wide, 20 million metric tons, traveling 28,000 mph) will arrive April 13th, 2029, coming within 20,000 miles of Earth. My dear friend Tom Horn had a prophetic dream years ago hearing “Apophis”—later discovering it’s an ancient Egyptian demon of chaos. Why would NASA choose that name?
Here’s the incredible math: if Apophis represents Revelation chapter 8’s mid-Tribulation asteroid, counting back three and a half years on the Jewish calendar brings us to October 13th, 2025—when the Tribulation could begin. That means the Rapture would happen between now and then, possibly during this year’s Feast of Trumpets (September 22–24). If the seven-year Tribulation runs 2025-2032, Jesus returns exactly 2,000 years after His crucifixion in 32 AD. I’m not setting dates, but this generation must be watching and ready!
