Two of Donald Trump’s most senior officials, his special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and the US ambassador to Israel, are visiting Gaza today. They will tour an aid distribution site.
It comes as the pressure increases on both countries over the dire humanitarian situation. The UN is warning of soaring deaths due to malnutrition.
