The international reaction to Friday’s meeting between the US and Russian presidents has been mixed. European leaders have doubled down on their support for Kiev. But many Ukrainians are sceptical that a peace deal can be achieved, and have accused US President Donald Trump of appeasing Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Late on Saturday, Volodymyr Zelenskyy took to social media, saying Russia’s refusal to a full ceasefire complicates the situation. Selina Downes reports.
