Kosovo’s decision to open its energy market to large companies has already pushed-up energy bills and forced some businesses to close. While the Energy Regulatory Office insists that this ‘liberalisation’ is necessary, a lack of political oversight is fueling fears of an economic fallout. Haris Ademi reports from Kosovo.
