On today’s show, the first hostages are released as part of the peace deal between Israel and Hamas, that was brokered by the US, Egypt, Qatar and Turkey. President Trump is due to arrive in Israel, where he’ll address the Knesset and meet the hostages, before heading to Egypt for a peace summit.
On the markets, Asian equities tumble as they catch up with renewed tariff uncertainty after the trade war between the US and China was reignited. But US futures gain after Donald Trump signalled that he was open to a deal with China.
