US President Donald Trump is sounding less enthusiastic about helping Ukraine repel Russian forces, and is urging both sides to stop the fighting ‘at the current battle lines’. While President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was given a warmer welcome at the White House on Friday, he didn’t get what he came for, as Trump appears to have been influenced by his lengthy phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin the day before.
