Israel says the ceasefire has resumed in Gaza after launching a wave of air strikes that killed at least 44 Palestinians on Sunday, which marks the biggest test yet to the fragile deal brokered by US President Donald Trump. Israel says the attacks were in response to violations by Hamas – accusations the group denies. The Trump administration is now scrambling to prevent the deal from completely unravelling.
