Peruvian soldiers have been deployed across the nation’s capital – in a bid to crack down on rising crime. On Tuesday, interim President Jose Jeri declared a 30-day state of emergency, following violent anti-government protests that left one person dead and dozens injured. Kristina Simich reports.
