    Serbia’s public figures join student protests after Novi Sad tragedy

    A growing number of public figures in Serbia have joined the student-led protests that began after the tragic collapse of a railway station canopy in Novi Sad. 16 people were killed, and one person was seriously injured. The movement has attracted actors, musicians, writers and academics who feel compelled to speak out.

    Across The Balkans, hosted by Semir Sejfovic, is TRT World’s programme that focuses specifically on the issues and fault lines shaping Southeast Europe today.
