Speaking to Sky News, the Head of the White House’s FIFA World Cup Task Force, Andrew Giuliani said "safety is key" when asked if the President could move some games out of host cities where he deems crime to be too high.
England and Scotland will find out their group stage opponents for next year’s World Cup on Friday which will be played in America, Canada and Mexico.
"Safety is key and the president is focused not just on our World Cup, but the safety and security of Americans and those international visitors that are travelling here," he says.
He adds, "he wants to make sure that each of these cities are doing everything they can to make sure it is a safe experience”.
