The Met Police have ended an investigation into claims Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor asked an officer to help dig up dirt on Virginia Giuffre.
Ms Giuffre had accused the former prince of sexual assault, an allegation he denies.
The Mail on Sunday claimed in October that Andrew tried to get his personal protection officer to investigate the woman.
But the Met said an assessment of the allegations "has not revealed any additional evidence of criminal acts or misconduct" since the force last looked at the case.
