At least 11 people have been killed in a terror attack on Bondi Beach as more than a thousand people gathered to mark the first day of Hanukkah.
Two men opened fire in the attack at the tourist hotspot, with video from the scene showing people running for their lives amid the sound of gunfire.
One alleged gunman has been confirmed dead in addition to the 11 killed, police said. The second alleged gunman was in critical condition.
London-born Rabbi Eli Schlanger has been named as one of those who died, while at least 29 people – including two police officers and a child – are reported to be injured.
